Alpha Gamma Rho is more than just a social fraternity - we are also a professional organization! We develop our members through hard work and educational programming, and we do our best to turn each one of our members into outstanding men. We reward individual endeavor, resourcefulness, and aggressive effort - and create an unparalleled environment for social and leadership opportunity!
SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarship is the reason you're at Penn State. Expect our brothers to require study hours, help you choose good professors and to provide tutoring so we can keep the house GPA up where it's supposed to be – at the top of the campus rankings. We know your academic success is a prerequisite for building a successful career, and we have a reputation of producing some pretty impressive alumni.

Gamma Chapter currently has the 10th highest GPA (3.31) of all IFC Fraternities! Our average GPA is also higher than the All Men's Average GPA of 3.11!

COMMUNITY
SERVICE
We value giving back. You wouldn't be here if someone hadn't invested in you, and it's likely you wouldn't be considering an organization like Alpha Gamma Rho if you hadn't already reinvested some of your time and talent in others. In AGR we believe that to become "better men" we must first learn to become better citizens and neighbors through mentoring, campus leadership, community service activities, philanthropic projects. Our programs reflect our commitment.
PHILANTHROPY
There is a lot more to college than studying and going to class, and we're not just talking about the social life. We're talking about the extra-curricular stuff – clubs, student organizations, sports, music, theater, philanthropies, student government, judging teams, you name it. Giving back is what we do - we raise money annually for THON and other various charities.

For THON 2021 we raised $108,047.01 for Pediatric Cancer!
This year topped our previous record of $102,523.30 from THON 2020!
